This is a multi protocol system that allows everyone to connect and talk no matter what mode they are using. We all share the love of digital modes and enjoy each other’s company on the air. Join in on the conversation!! Here is a simple diagram of how the digital modes come together and are bridged. The main piece that brings all the modes together is HBLINK. Think of it as a router / conference call. It’s taking all the connections and routing them to one big conference call.
It is important that you let the system completely drop between transmissions. Keying up to quick engages a chance that not all digital modes will activate. General rule of thumb leave about 2 seconds between transmissions before keying up. Same rule also applies when you key up. Wait about a second or two to allow all of the digital modes to come up.
